AdviserAlly integrates with Xero to keep your CRM and accounting books in sync. When a deal closes, AdviserAlly can create the Xero contact, raise the invoice and watch for payment — so your Sales Cycle and your finance ledger never disagree.

What you can do

Sync contacts both ways

New AdviserAlly clients appear as Xero contacts (and vice versa) with name, email, phone and address.

Raise invoices from deals

When a Sales Cycle stage is set to "Won", AdviserAlly creates a draft Xero invoice using your line items and tax rates.

Reconcile paid status

Xero payment events flip the deal to paid in AdviserAlly so your team always knows what is settled.

UK VAT handled correctly

AdviserAlly respects your Xero VAT settings — no hand-coding tax codes.

How to set it up

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Xero in AdviserAlly.
  2. Click "Connect Xero" and authorise the OAuth scope.
  3. Pick the default Xero contact group, account code and tax rate.
  4. Send a test deal through your Sales Cycle to confirm a draft invoice appears in Xero.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Xero subscription?

Yes. AdviserAlly connects to your existing Xero account; we do not resell Xero. Any current paid Xero plan with the standard accounting API enabled will work.

Will it duplicate contacts?

No. AdviserAlly matches by email address first, then by name + postcode. Existing Xero contacts are linked rather than recreated.

Can I keep some clients out of Xero?

Yes. Sync is opt-in per Sales Cycle stage. You can also tag a client as "internal" to keep them out of finance entirely.
